How to use Device benchmark

Open Device benchmark on the phone, tablet, or computer you want to score. Device class, cores, and the memory hint (if the browser shares one) show immediately. Tap Run benchmark and leave this tab in the foreground for about 11 seconds. CPU runs first (about 5 seconds), then JavaScript and layout (about 2 seconds), then graphics (about 4.5 seconds). Progress updates live for each phase. Read the 0–100 score and the subscores. Copy the summary if you want to keep it. This is a rough in-browser score, not a lab benchmark. Nothing is uploaded.

About this tool

Score this phone, tablet, or desktop with a rough 0–100 in-browser benchmark. About 11 seconds on this device: typed-array math, a JSON and layout pass, then a longer WebGL paint (Canvas 2D if WebGL is missing). Live progress, subscores, and a guessed phone, tablet, or desktop label. Cores and the navigator.deviceMemory hint count when the browser exposes them. Not a lab benchmark. Nothing is uploaded. Device benchmark on Omnipus runs in this tab with no upload. No account, watermark, or daily cap.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Device benchmark free?

Yes. No signup, watermark, or quota.

Do you upload my device data?

No. The score is computed in this tab from a local CPU pass, a JSON and layout pass, a WebGL or Canvas 2D paint, hardwareConcurrency, and deviceMemory when the browser exposes it.

Is this a Geekbench-style lab score?

No. It is a rough in-browser score so you can compare devices you have in front of you. The run takes about 11 seconds and yields between chunks so the page can stay responsive. Heat, battery saver, other tabs, and browser throttling change the number. Do not treat it as a published spec.

Why is memory blank?

navigator.deviceMemory is a coarse hint (often capped at 8 GB) and only some Chromium browsers provide it. When it is missing, memory is left out of the total instead of inventing a number.

Will this work on my phone?

Yes. The layout works on phones, tablets, and desktops. The run yields between chunks so the tab can paint. Leave it in the foreground for about 11 seconds. Close heavy apps first if the phone is thermally throttled.

Is Device benchmark completely free to use?

Yes. Device benchmark on Omnipus is free to use with no subscription paywall for the tool itself.

Are my files or data uploaded to any servers?

No. Device benchmark processes your input locally in this browser tab. Your files and text are not sent to Omnipus. Some tools download an engine or model file the first time you use them; that is a download, not an upload.

Can I use Device benchmark on my mobile phone?

Yes. Omnipus has touch-friendly controls and can be installed as an app. On Android you can also share files or links into tools from other apps.
