About this tool

A time card calculator for shifts and timesheets. Each row has a start time, end time, and unpaid break in minutes; overnight shifts (end earlier than start) are handled. Totals show as hours and minutes and as decimal hours, and an optional hourly rate gives gross pay before tax and overtime rules. Rows are saved in this browser so you can come back to the week.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I enter an overnight shift?

Just enter the real times, for example 22:00 to 06:00. When the end time is earlier than the start, it counts as the next day.

Are breaks paid or unpaid?

The break column is subtracted, so treat it as unpaid time. Leave it at 0 for paid breaks.

Does it handle overtime?

No. Gross pay is simply total hours × rate. Overtime rules differ by country and employer.

Is my time card stored online?

No. Rows are kept in this browser’s localStorage only.

Is Hours calculator completely free to use?

Yes. Hours calculator on Omnipus is free to use with no subscription paywall for the tool itself.

Are my files or data uploaded to any servers?

No. Hours calculator processes your input locally in this browser tab. Your files and text are not sent to Omnipus. Some tools download an engine or model file the first time you use them; that is a download, not an upload.

Can I use Hours calculator on my mobile phone?

Yes. Omnipus has touch-friendly controls and can be installed as an app. On Android you can also share files or links into tools from other apps.
