About this tool

A wheel of names for classrooms, giveaways, and decisions. Enter one option per line, tap Spin, and the wheel lands on a winner chosen with crypto.getRandomValues, so every entry has the same chance. Turn on Remove winner to draw without repeats, shuffle the list, and see the last ten results. The list is stored in this browser’s localStorage, not on a server.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the wheel really random?

Yes. The winning slice is chosen with crypto.getRandomValues using rejection sampling, so there is no modulo bias. The animation only shows the result.

Is my list saved?

Yes, in this browser only (localStorage). Clearing site data removes it. Nothing is uploaded.

Can I use it for a giveaway?

Yes, for casual draws. For regulated contests, follow the rules that apply to you and keep your own records.

How many entries can I add?

Up to 200. Labels longer than about 22 characters are shortened on the wheel but shown in full as the winner.

Is Spin the wheel completely free to use?

Yes. Spin the wheel on Omnipus is free to use with no subscription paywall for the tool itself.

Are my files or data uploaded to any servers?

No. Spin the wheel processes your input locally in this browser tab. Your files and text are not sent to Omnipus. Some tools download an engine or model file the first time you use them; that is a download, not an upload.

Does Omnipus add watermarks to exported files?

No. Omnipus does not stamp a site watermark onto files you export from Spin the wheel.

Can I use Spin the wheel on my mobile phone?

Yes. Omnipus has touch-friendly controls and can be installed as an app. On Android you can also share files or links into tools from other apps.
