About this tool

Paste an article or notes and play it back. Uses your browser’s built-in Web Speech API — Omnipus does not receive your text. Some browsers’ online voices (for example Chrome’s “Google” voices) are synthesized by the browser vendor’s servers; pick a local system voice if that matters.

Browsers do not expose a standard export from speechSynthesis. Play it live instead.

Yes. Text to speech on Omnipus is free to use with no subscription paywall for the tool itself.

Are my files or data uploaded to any servers?

No. Text to speech processes your input locally in this browser tab. Your files and text are not sent to Omnipus. Some tools download an engine or model file the first time you use them; that is a download, not an upload.

Does Omnipus add watermarks to exported files?

No. Omnipus does not stamp a site watermark onto files you export from Text to speech.

Can I use Text to speech on my mobile phone?
