About AVIF to WebP
WebP is supported by more apps and CMS plugins than AVIF while staying compact, and it keeps the alpha channel, so logos and cut-outs stay transparent.
Transparency is kept.
A quality slider controls the size/quality trade-off (90% by default).
Metadata such as EXIF and GPS location is not copied, because the image is redrawn on a canvas.
