About MP4 to WAV
Editors, DAWs, and transcription tools often want uncompressed WAV. Extract the audio from an MP4 without another lossy step.
Audio is decoded to 16-bit PCM WAV. WAV is uncompressed, so expect roughly 10 MB per minute for stereo 44.1 kHz audio.
The FFmpeg engine (about 31 MB) downloads the first time you convert and is then cached by your browser. Files up to about 100 MB are supported because everything runs in browser memory.
