About BMP to WebP
WebP turns heavy BMP screenshots and scans into small web-ready images, lossy or near-lossless depending on the quality you choose.
A quality slider controls the size/quality trade-off (90% by default).
Metadata such as EXIF and GPS location is not copied, because the image is redrawn on a canvas.
