About JPG to ICO
Turn a photo or logo saved as JPG into a favicon. JPG has no transparency, so a square crop on a plain background looks best.
The .ico contains 16, 32, 48, 64, 128, and 256 px sizes. Non-square images are centered without stretching.
Metadata such as EXIF and GPS location is not copied, because the image is redrawn on a canvas.
