About WAV to FLAC
FLAC compresses WAV recordings losslessly — often to roughly half the size, depending on the material — so you can archive without losing any audio.
FLAC is lossless: decoding the FLAC gives back the exact same samples.
The FFmpeg engine (about 31 MB) downloads the first time you convert and is then cached by your browser. Files up to about 100 MB are supported because everything runs in browser memory.
